The man behind Automation is Mark Baumann Lund, holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. With over 20 years of experience, he has independently operated Baumatik, now known as XPLEVEL, since 2010. He embarked on his independent journey to broaden his technical horizons, gaining familiarity with a wide range of control suppliers in the market and exploring potential collaborations.

Since childhood, Mark has possessed a keen interest in natural sciences and mathematical models. As he grew older, programming became an increasingly significant part of his interests.

He has specialized in Servo technology and aims to develop solutions that enhance companies' process optimization. Mark creates software templates tailored to each customer's specific needs.

His expertise in the field stems from positions at Rockwool and Lenze. Beginning as a programmer at Rockwool, he worked extensively with Siemens PLC and Scada/HMI systems, including transitioning from S5 to S7. Mark's initial exposure to Lenze products was through the 9300 servo drive system.

After his tenure at Rockwool, he transitioned to Application Engineering at Lenze. Here, he gained experience in Servo technology, providing support to customers by overseeing project launches, troubleshooting, and sales. During his time at Lenze, Mark became knowledgeable about all their products. With Mark on board, the company introduced their first industrial PCs and HMI solutions. He was responsible for technical sales and support in Denmark.

I have a background as a machinist/industrial technician and began my career as an operator and repairer, eventually advancing to Team Lead in the printing industry. My professional journey later took me to Tresu A/S, where I progressed to the position of Field Operation Manager from my initial role as a service technician. With over 20 years of hands-on experience and more than 200 days of travel per year under my belt, I have specialized in mechanical assembly of machine systems, installation, commissioning of various special machines, and operator training. My extensive experience and understanding of processes make me a reliable partner for automation technicians, bridging the gap between mechanics and software.
